International Links
In September 2008 the School received the full International School Award from the British Council, in recogntion of our "outstanding" work in the field of International Education.
As global communication and travel becomes easier, we feel it is vital to teach the children about different peoples and cultures across the world. The best way of doing this is to get the children to directly communicate with children abroad. To this end we have established links for each class with another school in a different country, as follows:
Class 6:
Class 5: Ecole Elementaire Roger Semat, St Denis, Paris, France
Class 5: Osnovna šola Horjul, Horjul, Slovenia
Class 4:
Class 3: Oakhurst Primary, Capetown, South Africa
Class 2: Pakistan, through the British Council's connecting classrooms project
Class 1: Pakistan, through the British Council's connecting classrooms project
