St. Andrew's is a one form entry Church of England voluntary aided primary school for children aged 5 to 11 years old and has nursery places for three and four year olds. The school is housed in a modern single storey building, with playgrounds to the front and rear, and a playing field. The Nursery has a separate entrance and outdoor area.

The main entrance to the school is at the front and is clearly signed. The Headteacher's and School Administrator's offices are located off the entrance hall to the left and right after entering the main door. There are two other entrances, one for infant children and the other for the Nursery.
